Health Benefits From Hot Peppers

Hot peppers are more then just bursting with heat and flavor they have great health benefits as well.

Hot peppers have an ingredient called capsaicin which has been shown to relieve pain naturally. Capsaicin may also help prevent heart disease, diarrhea, help lower blood pressure and cholesterol and give relief to rheumatoid arthritis sufferers. These peppers are high in vitamin C and beta-carotene. Capsaicin is also an antioxidant which helps protect against free radicals.

Use caution when handling hot peppers, do not touch eyes or sensitive areas when using peppers and wash hands thoroughly after use.
