The latest idiotic trend taking place by teenagers is drinking hand sanitizer, yes hand sanitizer. Doctors in Southern California are warning parents about the hand sanitizer buzz after 6 teens were treated for alcohol poisoning.
Hand sanitizer contains about 60 percent alcohol which is 120 proof, your average vodka contains about 40 percent alcohol which is 80 proof. A few swigs of hand sanitizer and a kid is very drunk.
Teenagers will find anything out there to get a buzz, hand sanitizer is easily accessible and quite cheap. One more item on that long list that we have to be diligent about.
