We hear about skin cancer and the damage the sun does to our skin but this photo should make it a little easier to grasp for people like myself who worship the sun.
The man in the photo is a 69 year old truck driver that has been behind the wheel for about 25 years. The photo clearly shows a significant amount of damage to one side of his face, the side that gets the sun while driving. Most of us do not think about applying sun screen while driving but this may make us think a little differently.
The photo was actually published in the New England Journal of Medicine showing what dermatologists call dermatoheliosis.
