Coffee May Prevent Heart Failure

A new study published in the American Heart Association’s journal Circulation Heart Failure proves once again drinking coffee is beneficial.

Researchers at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center found that drinking two 8 ounce cups of coffee a day may reduce heart failure by 11 percent. Scientists analyzed five studies consisting of 140,000 men and women, four studies were performed in Sweden and one study in Finland. Let it be known, more than four or five cups daily resulted in higher risk for heart failure.

Studies in the past have shown coffee to be beneficial for many ailments such as depression, Alzheimer’s, certain cancers, Parkinson’s disease and type 2-diabetes.
