Legally blind 18 year old Connor Boss is a young woman that should serve as an inspiration, some of us feel down at times, this young lady will pick you up. Connor was Diagnosed with Stargardt Disease when she was 8 years old. Stargardt Disease is a form of juvenile macular degeneration which leads to progressive vision loss.
Despite Connors “disability” she has a 4.2 GPA, served as class president, performed gymnastics and competed in track. With beauty and a great personality Connor told the Sun Sentinel “I walk into the men’s bathroom all the time, usually by the time I figure it out, it’s whoops sorry, people think I am crazy.” Connor is currently Miss Delray Beach and today she is competing for Miss Florida. If she wins today she will represent Florida in the Miss USA Pageant.
