4 Million Bumbo Baby Seats Recalled Due To Skull Fractures

4 Million Bumbo Baby seats are being recalled due to multiple skull fractures after babies wiggle out of seats and fall. About 21 skull fractures and dozens of other injuries have been reported.

Bumbo International is a South Africa based company that produces the molded foam seats. Bumbo seats were recalled in 2007 for additional warning labels against using the seats at levels above the floor such as tables or kitchen counters.

Consumers with these seats are urged to stop use and contact Bumbo for a free repair kit containing restraining belt and instructions on safe use of Bumbo seats.  Consumers can attain information by calling Bumbo at (866)-898-4999 or online at www.recall.BumboUSA.com.
